“Al-Azhar University headed by Prof. Mohamed Al-Mahrasawy offers its deepest condolences to our brotherly country the Sudan for those killed in the floods and heavy rainfalls that claimed the lives of many victims, led to the collapse and destruction of  several houses of brotherly Sudanese people” said Al-Azhar University President, his eminence Prof. Mohamed Al-Mahrasawy

He went on to voice the “university solidarity with the brotherly country praying that God, the Almighty, have mercy on those killed , may He rest them all in peace with prophets, men of truth , martyrs, and the pious – the best of company are they .”

The university also sincerely wishes those injured a speedy recovery, that the brotherly country withstand the crisis it is going through, that it be protected by God , the Almighty,  from evils and bad happenings and that He, the Almighty, grant it safety, security, and peace.
