Participants in the workshop with Dutch scientists appreciate the efforts of the Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar to serve humanity

       The delegation of Al-Azhar University, participating in the workshop with Dutch university professors, affirmed that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif is the religious reference for Muslims in the world. The delegation appreciated the efforts of the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Council of Muslim Elders, to spread peace and tolerance among all human beings without regard to color, sex or creed. The delegation declared its rejection of the attachment of terrorism to Islam, stressing that all religions reject violence and extremism and do not tolerate the extremism of the members of the different faiths. The participants in the dialogue workshops of the two sides need to be careful in dealing with religious texts, especially non-specialists, explaining that dealing with religious texts have rules and assets must be observed, pointing out that the lack of observance of these controls resulted in the spread of violence and chaos experienced by various countries of the world . He also called on the participants to invest in the common denominators between the different religions in order to create a spirit of cooperation, friendship and tolerance among all.
